Pricing and Fare Calculation

The Keavibe platform calculates fares for transportation services based on various factors, which may include base fares, distance traveled, time spent during the trip, dynamic pricing, tolls, taxes, regulatory fees, airport or location-based surcharges, and other applicable charges. The fare structure may vary depending on location, service type, time of day, demand levels, or other operational considerations.
Before a booking is confirmed, Keavibe may provide passengers with an estimated fare. Any fare estimate is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guaranteed or final price. The final fare may differ from the estimate due to factors such as changes in route, traffic conditions, waiting time, additional stops, ride duration, or modifications requested by the passenger. Dynamic or variable pricing may apply during periods of high demand, limited driver availability, special events, or other market conditions. Passengers acknowledge that fares may increase or decrease based on real-time demand and supply and agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of booking confirmation. Upon completion of a ride, the final fare will be calculated and charged using the pricing rules in effect at the time of the trip. Passengers authorize Keavibe to charge the applicable fare, along with any additional fees or charges, to the selected payment method. Failure of payment, charges chargebacks, or disputed transactions may result in account restrictions or suspension.
Drivers acknowledge that fares collected through the platform may be subject to service fees, commissions, or other deductions as disclosed by Keavibe. The driver’s earnings are calculated after such applicable deductions and may vary based on factors including completed trips, location, and platform policies. Keavibe does not guarantee any minimum earnings or income level. Keavibe reserves the right to modify pricing models, fare calculation methods, fees, or surcharges at any time, to the extent permitted by law. Changes to pricing policies will be made available through the platform, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of such changes. Keavibe is not responsible for fare variations caused by traffic, weather, route changes, passenger requests, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Refunds and Fare Adjustments
Passengers may request a review of a fare or charge through the Keavibe platform or customer support if they believe a fare has been incorrectly calculated or charged. Requests for refunds or fare adjustments must be submitted within a reasonable period after the completion of the trip and must include relevant details of the booking.
Keavibe may, at its discretion, review trip data, including distance traveled, trip duration, route information, waiting time, and system records, to determine whether a fare adjustment or refund is appropriate. Refunds or adjustments may be issued in cases of system errors, duplicate charges, incorrect fare calculations, or other verified billing issues attributable to the platform. Refunds, when approved, may be issued as a reversal to the original payment method, as in-app credit, or through another method determined by Keavibe, depending on the payment option used and applicable regulations. Processing times for refunds may vary based on the payment provider, including mobile money services or banks, and Keavibe does not control the time required for funds to be reflected in the passenger’s account.
Keavibe is not obligated to provide refunds or fare adjustments for fare differences resulting from traffic conditions, route changes requested by the passenger, waiting time, dynamic pricing, driver availability, weather conditions, or other factors disclosed in these Terms of Service. No refunds will be provided for completed trips except as required by applicable law. In the event of a canceled trip, refund eligibility and the amount refunded, if any, will be determined in accordance with Keavibe’s cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking. Any applicable cancellation or no-show fees may be deducted from the refunded amount. Keavibe reserves the right to deny refund or adjustment requests that are fraudulent, excessive, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms of Service. Repeated or improper refund requests may result in account restrictions, suspension, or termination.

Fare Disputes and Review Process
If a passenger believes that a fare, fee, or charge applied to a completed or canceled trip is incorrect, the passenger may request a fare review through the Keavibe platform or by contacting customer support. Fare review requests must be submitted within a reasonable time after the trip, as specified by Keavibe, and must include sufficient information to allow the issue to be reviewed.

Upon receiving a dispute or fare review request, Keavibe may investigate the matter by reviewing relevant trip data, including booking details, distance traveled, trip duration, route information, timestamps, system logs, and any other information reasonably necessary to assess the accuracy of the fare. Keavibe may also consider applicable pricing rules, cancellation policies, and platform records in effect at the time of the trip. Following its review, Keavibe may determine, at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law, whether a fare adjustment, refund, credit, or no action is appropriate. The outcome of the review will be communicated to the passenger through the platform or other reasonable means. Decisions made by Keavibe as part of the fare review process are final, except where otherwise required by law.

Drivers may also raise concerns regarding fare calculations or earnings through designated support channels. Keavibe may review driver-related fare disputes using trip and system data and may correct verified calculation errors where appropriate. Fare reviews do not guarantee an adjustment or additional payment. Keavibe is not required to resolve disputes arising solely from traffic conditions, route changes requested by the passenger, waiting time, dynamic pricing, road conditions, weather, or other disclosed factors that affect fare calculation. Repeated, abusive, or fraudulent dispute submissions may result in account restrictions, suspension, or termination.
